Dear human body corporation:

    What are you thinking! Without me (cardiovascular system) all cells will die. Without the nutrients that are carried in blood, cells will die. Also i hope you like viruses because without the white blood cells you will be open to them. All the organs will eventually shut down too. so if i where you don't fire me.

    Okay first, I mentioned something about all cells getting no nutrients, well its true. all cells get nutrients from the blood it's like a transport system. Oh ya, there wont be anything to take away the waste so the cells are going to get clogged up. Lungs will be useless because there will not be a use for the oxogene that comes in. so remember if there is no blood, your body will become a dump.

    Do you like viruses?  Well I hope you do because without white blood cells your a lot more vulnerable. Oh and I'm sure you have gotten cuts before, but without the little white blood cells it wont get repaired. Like I said, if you don't have white blood cells pumping through you, you are very vulnerable. So that is another important reason not to fire me!

    So out of the other systems you decided to fire me. well what if I told you without my support all of the other system will die. Yes its true the cells and tissues will start dieing and soon enough the whole body will be done for. So without me there is pretty much nothing. So if I where you I would consider firing one of the kidneys, you have two of them!

    Okay, I don't mean to point fingers at any organ, (except for the kidneys)  but I feel like i keep everything flowing so just don't fire me. I keep your cells clean and fed. Those nasty viruses stand no match to my white blood cells. How about keeping the other organs by keeping me. Anyway the obvious answer to this problem is to not fire me, or another system maybe just organs that are less important.

Minecraft

           It was a boring summer night. I would have been outside but it was raining. So I decided to find a game on my computer. I came upon Minecraft. I decided I might as well play it.

        "What is this?" I wondered

        I was in a endless land of blocks. I could see flowers, sheep and pigs. There where mountains, ravines and forests. 

        "hmmm, I should build a house for the night"

        I then vigorously gathered supplies for my house. I placed my floor, walls and the roof. I was finished. I had a humble house-hold. But something was missing.

        " Almost forgot, lets put down a crafting table to make my tools." i said

        I was glad I built my house because it got dark quick. The sun fell and the evil presence of the moon came.

        " Oh no my axe is out there!"

        I headed outside to retrieve my axe when I heard a noise.

        "Hello, is anyone there?" i yelled.

        "Please don't kill me," I yelped as I ran to my house to huddle by my crafting table. 

        "I have an idea, ill make a sword," i exclaimed 

        I threw together some sticks and some wood planks to make a weak sword. 

        " I will wack you !" i yelled.

        "don't do anything funny!" 

        " You know I have a sword!"

        I gathered my courage and burst through my door into the moon- lit darkness. I felt brave. I was going to slay whatever was out there. but then my rush of courage was gone when batwang, I was struck by and arrow. and from the darkness came a skeleton. I then lunged as fast as I could at the... power button. I then closed the computer then ran to my mom. 

        "Mom I was going to be killed!" there was a long pause

        "Okay."

        "Wait, isn't  it your bed time Garrett?" she said

        "Oh ya but on my computer."

        "Go to bed," she interrupted

        "Okay but no guarantees"

        "Wait,  what where you doing?"

        "Oh I was in Minecraft," I replied

        "Okay then, how about you go to sleep,"  

        "Fine goodnight." 

        My conclusion to my adventure. My conclusion is to try not to get sucked into games. Although it is fun playing games, games can be bad. Like if you play allot you might get sucked away from what is happening in the real world. Just try to take a break every once and a while. That was my story hoped you enjoyed it.

Zeus, king of the gods.

                                                               

     I read the book Zeus, king of the gods. The Author of the book is George O'connor. before anything there was Kaos, out from Kaos came Gaea. Gaea and Ouranos had children they where the titans, cyclopes and the Hekatonchieres. Ouranos did not like the cyclopes and the Hekatonchieres he sent them to Tartaros, Gaea did not like this so she gave Kronos a sickle to kill Ouranos. The blood of Ouranos landed and made the Gigantes,Nymphs and the three strange ladies. Kronos and Rhea then had babies they where the gods, Kronos was afraid of them overthrowing him so he ate all of them except Zeus. Rhea hid Zeus with the nymphs. Later the Nymphs gave Zeus a plant to make his father barf his brothers and sisters up. Zeus then freed the cyclopes and the Hekatonchieres  (he got his lightning bolt from them) then they all overthrew his father. He was then crowned king of the gods.

     I picked out a important theme from this book. I think that it was that with help you  can  overcome anything. Like Zeus would not be able to overthrow his father without the plant that he was given. This theme can be put in real life whenever you need help, it can even be getting help on school work. I think this theme good theme and it can be used throughout life.

    This book was very good. I think I would recommend  this book to a friend. I think my friends would like this book. They might  not even like mythology but still like this book because of the action like I did.  Overall I enjoyed this book and my friends would too.
